想同时申请英美工业设计研究生，请问在作品集的准备上有何不同吗？

答：按照英国的要求去准备即可。英国从作品集的数量上讲就比美国要求更多，而且还需要提交1～2本手绘本。英国的研究生工业设计作品集由至少50页组成，包括4～5个项目，每一个项目中要阐述灵感来源、调研、由此得出的观点、设计过程、设计解决方法、最终成果。注重实验性和研究的过程。美国的研究生作品集也是由4～5个项目组成，但在数量上不超过30页即可。所以如果按照英国的标准准备，申请美国院校时根据学校的要求做相应的调整即可。总的来看，英国排版比较注重作品集创作过程的前后连贯与风格的一致性，美国排版比较注重体现学生的创意思维与创新，比较注重突出结果。
